It is a perfect interpretative evolution of the laurel wreath that Napoleone Bonaparte used to be portrayed with, and which was composed of one leaf for each one of his victories. The necklace is composed of 18 lanceolate rock crystal leaves (167,60 carats), alternating with yellow gold engraved leaves, so it becomes a striking example of the deep respect for golsdmithing techniques and of how much it is impossible to express the drawing without them. At the same time, it is as much impossible – without the drawing – to allow the technique to become the artist’s tool.
The inner necklace is composed of 36 emeralds of 10,48 carats and 36 rubies of 3,90 carats.
In an indissoluble marriage, technique and shape support one another, in an endless virtuous circle.
